Round 2 also serves as the selection stage for the US delegation.<\/p><\/dd><\/div>\n<div><dt>Team USA<\/dt><dd><strong>The US delegation<\/strong><p>Five eligible students are selected through Round 2. They must be US citizens, US permanent residents, or students enrolled full-time in a US middle or high school.<\/p><\/dd><\/div>\n<div><dt>IEO<\/dt><dd><strong>International Economics Olympiad<\/strong><p>Selected students represent the USA at IEO. The international event has its own syllabus and rules, so USAEBO preparation should use the materials for the relevant competition.<\/p><\/dd><\/div>\n<\/dl>\n<div class=\"about-selection-note\"><strong>Awards and team selection are distinct<\/strong><p>Entering USAEBO or receiving an award does not automatically secure a place on Team USA.
